The final time ESET modernized its two safety suites antivirus and anti-malware only NOD32 and the more feature-heavy another Smart Security it was a different computer safety world. Version 5.0 of ESET Smart Security is a solid, original attempt to create a suite that adapts to a quickly changing threats cape, with a prominence on general detections and the now-commonplace reliance on both cloud and locally stored detections. It left us deficient in one area that many don't believe "core" safety, and so its lower price and good benchmark might win over people gloomy with other suites.
ESET was originally recommended to me in a business atmosphere. We tried it and found it was much less intrusive with minimal system impact. My home network had been getting bogged down with my current AV software so I made the switch and won't be going back. The updates are frequent, do not slow down my system or cause lock ups. ESET is active; it has blocked some e-mails and websites. I'm very pleased and would recommend it to anyone.
